Where do AI agents run?
Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini processes run on your connected computer. The dashboard sends tasks and state through the server.
What do Auto and Manual mean?
Auto runs tasks without per-task approval; in Manual, tasks with write access wait for approval on the device. The X-MAN terminal stores the choice through /permission.
Which agents can I use?
X-MAN supports Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini. The CLI automatically reports installed agents, sign-in status and available model metadata. Model access depends on your provider account.
Are my project files uploaded?
No. Project files and agent credentials stay on the device. Result text is returned only when content sync is enabled.
